Easter Weekend!

How can we complain? The weather was absolutely BEAUTIFUL, we spent time with family and friends, we got a lot of things on our "To-Do List" done and we had some family time together. Oliver had a blast!!! He was so excited to be outside all weekend and to see his little friends. On Friday we went over to our friends house were we had a pizza get together. There were lots of kids there so it was fun but very noise. Oliver played with some of his older friends and loved talking/screaming when he heard some of his younger friends cry. It was too funny!!! By the end of the night Oliver was asleep sitting up in the chair with his Daddy as all the chaos continued around him.

On Saturday Daddy got up really early to go fishing with his dad, Oliver's Grandpa, while Oliver and I stayed at home and got some spring cleaning done. He was quite the little helper!!! He would just laugh at me while I danced around the house with my rags and broom. After a long morning nap and Daddy getting home we went and got a quick lunch. That night Oliver's Great Granny and Great Aunt Patty came to hangout with him for a little while so Mommy and Daddy could have a date night and get some much needed shopping done. Oliver had a blast with the two of them and he was just a little bit spoiled by the time we got home.

When Oliver awoke on Sunday morning he was so excited to see what the "Easter Bunny" had brought him. He got a Jeep style walker, a new stroller, some bibs, baby food and summertime onesies. Thankfully we still had gift cards left over from baby showers and Babies R' Us was having a great sale. Oliver has loved playing in his new walker because it has gadgets that play music and he just thinks that is the coolest thing ever. I about broke down in tears yesterday when we were in the kitchen cooking and all of sudden I felt something hit my legs. I turned around and there was our little man in his walker.....yep.....that's right.....he scooted himself across the floor to us and was just grinning from ear to ear. He is growing so fast these days!!! After cooking out and relaxing we went for a family walk so we could try out Oliver's new stroller. He loved it!!! He was just looking around at everything and taking in the beautiful day that God had given us to enjoy. It was a great Easter weekend and we are so thankful to our Creator for all that he has blessed us with.
